BIOGRAPHY – JOSEPH MARINO

BIOGRAPHY:

Joseph Marino is well known in the lending and brokerage communities, and brings over three decades of experience in all phases of  Construction Management & Financing, Real Estate Development and General Contracting skills. Mr. Marino will serve as Director of Remco’s recently established, Distressed Assets Group.

EXPERIENCE:

Merck Company, Whitehouse, New Jersey

Project Manager assigned to construct a 1,000,000sf. world headquarters facility for a major international pharmaceutical company.  Scope included coordinating extensive mandated site preservations and large scale reinforced concrete construction.  Responsibilities included schedule compliance and coordination of on-site staff and vendors.

Bridgewater Promenade Mall, Bridgewater, New Jersey

Senior Project Manager responsible for development and construction of a 750,000sf.  Power Center on a Brownfield site.  He coordinated permitting and construction activities of on-site and complex off-site improvements, thus navigating through numerous state, county, and local government agencies.

Broad Street Bank Building, 744 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey

Consultant for owner, responsible for creating budgets, controlling budgetary design compliance, and implementing base building improvements to a 725,000sf. landmark office building.

Madison Square Garden, New York, NY

Restack of 160,000 sf. on three floors of existing administration offices at 2 Pennsylvania Plaza. Complete interior renovation including coordination of systems furniture and data restructure. Offices include those for the MSG, NY Knicks & NY Rangers organizations.

Joe has a global vision of real estate from concept to occupancy, making him an essential link to a successful transaction.

EDUCATION / AFFILIATIONS:

Mr. Marino is a graduate of Monmouth College with a degree in business. He is an active member of IOREBA and the Newark Rotary who enjoys giving back to the community and participating in various charitable organizations.
